1. What does it mean to be "gold plated" or "silver plated"? Will my pieces eventually tarnish?
Gold and silver plating is a great alternative to jewelry that is filled with gold/silver or 100% gold/silver as it provides a beautifully elegant look without paying full price for gold or silver. A thin layer of REAL gold or silver (as thin as 1/1000 of an inch) is deposited onto a different metal (typically brass) electrically or chemically. This DOES mean that your pieces will eventually tarnish, as the base metal will slowly transfer into the thin gold or silver layer and cause it to break down. This especially applies to components that you touch more often (ie: the lobster clasp). To extend the longevity of your pieces as long as possible:
♡handle pieces gently and with care
♡do NOT get your jewelry wet!
♡store in a cool, dry place
♡avoid excess heat and humidity
♡do not sleep in your jewelry
♡put on your jewelry as the last step before you leave the house
♡remove your jewelry first thing when you get home
2. How come I did not get a confirmation email?
Our software is set up to automatically send a confirmation email after every purchase. If it is not in your inbox, check your spam/junk folder. If the email is still not there, feel free to send us an email or message via chat box and we can sort out the issue!
3. How long will my order take to be shipped out?
Every single order is handmade typically the day of/after being ordered. Orders are shipped typically 3 times a week. As everything is handmade, we appreciate your patience!
4. Are there returns or exchanges?
All sales are final, but if there is a problem with your purchase feel free to use the chat box or send us an email and we will do our best to fix our mistake!♡
5. How is shipping calculated?
All shipping costs are automatically calculated via the USPS estimates. All orders are shipped from Valencia, California. Domestic orders ship First Class Mail. US orders that are $40+ automatically qualify for free shipping
6. Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We ship worldwide. For international shipments:
♡Expect shipping to take up to 3-5 weeks
♡The USPS is only able to provide tracking to certain countries (see USPS site for more details)
♡All orders are shipped First-Class Mail only
♡As we deal with COVID-19, expect delays in the arrival of your package
7. How can I track my order?
Once we ship your order, we will receive a tracking number from the USPS. The package is now under the care and responsibility of the USPS. Stella and Luna will send you a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number provided by the USPS that allows you to track your order’s progress. (For domestic only and select international only)
